Avondale eliminate Preston | Lights out at Lakeside | Semi Final & VPL1 Playoff Previews

Josh, Nick and Lachie hold a memorial service for Preston's 2026 campaign, which came to an abrupt end on Saturday afternoon. Where did it go wrong for the Lions? How did Avondale turn their top six record around? And will Germano stay if they win the whole thing?

Then we turn our attention to a "lights out" performance by South Melbourne in the Greek Derby against Heidelberg. Despite finishing fourth, are Sinisa's side now title favourites?

Plus, there's in-depth previews of this week's so-called "preliminary" finals, and the VPL1 playoff semi finals, where Victory face Redbacks and Northcote host Bulleen on a bumper Friday night.
