This week we are diving into the world of zoo medicine with Christal Luna, LVT. She is a recent graduate of Mercy College (2021) but has been in zoo medicine since 2018. She began her journey as a volunteer then earned an internship with the Bronx Zoo while attending tech school. Currently, she splits her time between the Animal Medical Center and the Bronx Zoo. During our chat together she shares some insight into the life of a zoo tech, the various animals see has worked with, her experiences and her goals for the future.
