I find that engaging in strategies to enhance performance confidence is more effective and enjoyable than combatting performance anxiety. By focusing on what you desire to express and the listeners with whom you most want to share your singing, you will build your confidence and satisfaction in performance, and your anxious thoughts and impulses will gradually become less invasive.
