Sometimes, the true heart of a community shines brightest when people come together to help a family in need. Justin headed over to Burns Drive in Kill Devil Hills, where Master Heating & Cooling, Lennox Air Systems and Interfaith Community Outreach teamed up to provide Tom and Jennifer Dileo with a brand-new heating and air conditioning system. Jennifer is battling an aggressive form of breast cancer, facing extensive travel and significant financial challenges as she undergoes treatment. Having a clean, reliable home-comfort system was something this family could no longer put off. Thanks to the generosity of Interfaith Community Outreach and both of their families, that need became a reality. With two children at home, this gift means so much more than a new HVAC system. It’s a reminder that compassion, kindness and a community willing to show up can make all the difference. This is what the Outer Banks community is all about.
