Today starts a short series where we'll be diving into the withdrawal from Afghanistan, five years later. My first guest is Jon Singleton, a veteran whose work with Task Force Pineapple was instrumental in helping Afghans as their country fell to the Taliban and the U.S. prepared to depart.
We talk about the difficulties of processing this period, and return to the events of five years ago.

Jon Singleton is a retired Naval Aviator who’s served in Bosnia, throughout the Middle East, in Afghanistan, and at the Pentagon. For most of the last two decades, he’s been successfully selling residential real estate in Jacksonville, Florida. He and his business partner, Susan Hopkins recently joined Christie’s International Real Estate First Coast, and are about to hit their combined 1000th sale!
