Dr. Bridgette Ojo has spent years chasing the next goal, from losing 180 pounds and joining the Navy at 32 to earning her PhD and building a life she once prayed for.

In this episode, she breaks down the hidden cost of always focusing on what's next and waiting for life to finally become "good enough" before allowing yourself to enjoy it.

There will always be another goal, another responsibility, another problem to solve, and another version of yourself you want to become. But if you are constantly preparing for your future, you may miss the life happening right in front of you.

You do not have to wait until everything is perfect to experience joy. You can be ambitious and grateful. You can be healing and happy. You can want more for yourself while still appreciating everything you already have.

The life you keep chasing may already contain pieces of the life you once prayed for. Slow down long enough to notice them.
