A former NHS doctor, women's health activist, founder of the charity Mortal and Strong, and author of Not Just Painful Periods. Diagnosed with endometriosis, lupus, and connective tissue disease after years of dismissal, multiple miscarriages, wrongly advised IVF, and ultimately a hysterectomy in her early thirties, Liz knows this system from both sides of the consultation room.
