93. Behind the Fire: The Kooman Brothers on Bringing Daniel to the Big Screen

What does it take to bring one of the Bible’s most powerful stories to the big screen?

On this episode of the Faith Film Fan Podcast, Rick Altizer sits down with brothers Daniel and Matthew Kooman, the writers and directors of DANIEL & THE FIERY FURNACE, to go behind the scenes of the new biblical epic.

The Kooman Brothers share what it was like filming on location in India, working with hundreds of cast and crew, and tackling the massive scale of bringing ancient Babylon to life. They also open up about the role faith played throughout production, the importance of remaining faithful to Scripture, and the incredible response they’ve seen from audiences.

Plus, Daniel and Matthew reveal what could be next for the story of Daniel — including plans to continue his journey beyond the fiery furnace.

Hear the heart behind DANIEL & THE FIERY FURNACE and how the Kooman Brothers hope the film inspires audiences to return to Scripture and experience the story of Daniel in a whole new way.
