This week, Sarah takes us deep into one of the most horrifying survival stories ever recorded — the 1972 Andes Plane Crash. What began as a routine flight carrying a Uruguayan rugby team across the snow-covered Andes Mountains quickly turned into an unimaginable nightmare when the plane smashed into the mountains at over 12,000 feet. Stranded in freezing temperatures with almost no food, no rescue coming, and death surrounding them at every turn, the survivors were forced to make decisions so disturbing that the story still shocks the world over 50 years later.
