She explains why people with ADHD tend to feel emotions more intensely, what rejection sensitivity really is, and why ADHD symptoms can feel more intense during your menstrual cycle. Dr. Sasha also gets into what happens in the nervous system when someone perceives rejection or conflict as a social threat, what people can do when they recognize themselves in these patterns, and clears up the most common misconceptions about how stimulant medication works in an ADHD brain.
