This week, I covered the Mallory Beach hearings ahead of the case's scheduled trial and the resulting settlement. There is still a lot of ongoing litigation in the various Murdaugh cases. Erika Girardi won an appeal regarding the earrings that were turned over to the Bankruptcy Court, Tom Girardi’s competency hearing is pending with litigation over media coverage. Tom Girardi’s son-in-law David Lira is pending disbarment in California as is attorney Keith Griffin who was also counsel on the Lion Air case. Finally, there are a lot of updates in Idaho in both the murder case and the defamation case.
