The rest of our Gay selections are thoroughly in the 21st century and we take on our first Todd Haynes film discussion in the movie "Carol", which is a lesbian love story and also one of two films where Cate Blanchett plays a strong lesbian in a movie directed by a guy named "Todd". Carol is a pretty simple film that plays a lot of its emotion quietly. Like how they did in 1952. Hear us tell it.
