Megaman X-2. I conquered the first entry in the X series as a kid many times, but never gave the sequels much of a chance. Now I’m changing that, and already discovering what I’ve missed.
Analogy: Imagine a supremely talented athlete being drafted by a franchise that is clueless how to surround the player with talent and is saddled with a front office who are utterly incompetent. That’s what happened to the Dreamcast! In the end, the athlete never sniffs a championship and never gets the full recognition they deserve.
