Why am I so afraid â even of the things I want most? Fear of not being enough. Fear of the unknown. Fear of letting go. Beneath these different stories, what are we really afraid of?
In this talk, we explore how fear is rooted in a misunderstanding of what is true. The imagined self feels inadequate, needs validation, and treats life as something to defend against. But what happens when we stop trying to prove that character is enough â and question whether itâs who we really are?
Using the analogy of a game, we look at how identifying with the character makes every setback personal and other players threatening. Stepping back doesnât mean abandoning life. It reveals a lighter, more playful way to participate.
We explore:
- Why what we fear most is intimately connected to what we desire most- The egoâs fear of not being enough- Courage without needing fear to disappear- How seeing beyond separation loosens blame- Acceptance, compassion, and healing as natural expressions of seeing what is trueThis isnât about forcing yourself to feel fearless or pretending everything looks beautiful up close. Itâs about seeing the larger reality â and discovering what changes when you no longer have to control it all.

How I Can HelpâŚ
The real transformations I see people go through are the result of spending more (sincere) time in this inquiry. A humble willingness to look deeply and acknowledge what is seen. Itâs moving closer and closer to a life of devotion that prioritizes this discovery.
