I’m joined by Timothy Renner— host of StrangeFamiliars Podcast, artist, illustrator, musician, and author—whose work has long explored the shadowed edges of the unseen world. Tim shares stories from his upcoming book, The Keystone Hagstone, in which fairies, Sasquatch, black dogs, and other mysterious beings emerge from deep woods andancient stones. Their stories are as rich and uncanny as any found here in the West Country.
We talk about the Eternal Hunter, the goblin‑like bouts, and the curious parallels between Pennsylvania’s fairy lore and thestories of my own southwest England. Tim also speaks about dousing, the art of gifting to the fae, and the strange synchronicities that seem to follow him through his research.
