News this week that two of Hollywood’s most famous actors both have children who dropped their last names: Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. Suri Cruise has changed her name to her mother’s middle name, now going by Suri Noelle. Brad Pitt’s youngest daughter Vivenne has joined older sister and two other siblings In legally dropping Pitt from her name as well. We go over other celebrity kids who dropped their famous father’s last names for varying reasons and go over what the national statistics are for parental estrangement in this country, it’s higher than you might think.
