When one of Brazil’s most promising footballing talents was accused of ordering the kidnap of his mistress (and her subsequent murder, dismemberment, feeding to dogs and entombing in concrete by gangsters), it felt certain he would be locked up for life. Or, at the very least, slightly hinder his career.
But not only is Bruno walking free – he’s also still playing football to this day.
