On August 25, 1983, 3-year-old Lori Poland is found alive at the bottom of a 10-foot-deep waste pit beneath a deserted outhouse in the Colorado foothills. When rescuers ask how she got there, she quietly replies, "I live here." Just three days earlier, Lori disappeared from her front yard without a trace. As investigators piece together the case of "The Girl in the Hole," they link her disappearance to reports of a man driving an orange sedan who had been approaching children in the neighborhood and offering them candy. But there's one problem: Lori can't remember anything. With a strong lead but little evidence, Lori is the only person who can bring her captor to justice. Unless her memories return, there may be nothing stopping him from taking another child.
