In this week's episode, my mom and I sit down for a conversation all about how sobriety shifts over time and gets SO much easier. We chat about my sister's recent wedding and the experience of being sober at her wedding compared to the challenges of my first time sober at a wedding. We talk about how sobriety becomes normal life and eventually alcohol isn't even a thought for us anymore (even though that once felt impossible to imagine!). And we talk about the importance of practicing a "growth" mindset rather than a "fixed" mindset in sobriety and in life. This was SUCH an amazing growth conversation both about sobriety and life in general - you don't want to miss this one!
