Brentford came out of an early first half onslaught only trailing by one goal, and spurned several guild-edge chances in response, before the hosts doubled their advantage just before half-time. Mathias Jensen’s late second half worldie was but a consolation, as Keith Andrews’ side extended their winless run to seven in all competitions.
