Living with endometriosis and an ostomy has changed every part of my life from confidence to intimacy to simply getting through the day. In this raw and honest conversation, my husband Daniel and I open up about the realities of chronic illness, the surgeries, setbacks, leaks, hospital stays, and the emotional toll that comes with it all.
Daniel shares what it’s been like loving and supporting me through every stage of my journey advocating for me during difficult medical moments, helping me find confidence again, and reminding me I’m more than my diagnosis. We talk about how our relationship evolved through the hardest moments, the importance of patience and support, and how learning to own my scars and my story helped me rebuild confidence.
Through humor, vulnerability, and honesty, we hope to remind others navigating chronic illness that they are not alone. This episode is about resilience, love, body positivity, and learning to live boldly because being “Bougie & Bagged” is more than a phrase, it’s a mindset.
