Ooooooohhhhmmmaaaaannnn! Today's a good one! On multiple levels!
Some of you know, some of you don't but I've been living in the Netherlands for the past four years. It's a beautiful country and I enjoy it very much however, one of the tougher adjustments that I've had to make is that I've had a tough time finding the more "mysterious and weird" aspect of the Netherlands.
The occult angle here is always a pretty solid given, what with the Ritman library being here, a rich history of practicing alchemists and artists, as well as a castle supposedly inhabited by Faust.
But it wasn't until my neighbor told mw about the UFO sighitngs over the area of Soesterberg that the doorway to "weird Netherlands" finally opened a crack!
I can't wait to go on this adventure with you - both talking about this particular UFO sighting but also as we explore all the additional esoteric, paranormal and outright weird aspects of my new neighborhood. I feel like we have a brand new playground to run around in!
