WHAT ARE WE DOING?! Boomer, Pinder and Rhett Warrener dive into Alberta's decision to permanently stop changing the clocks, and the boys are already fed up with what it's doing to their sports schedules. For the first time in decades, Albertans didn't turn their clocks back on the first Sunday in November, with the province choosing to stay on daylight saving time year-round. That means Calgary is now one hour ahead of places like Vancouver during the winter, while remaining on the same time as Saskatchewan. And for sports fans, it's creating some pretty ridiculous situations. Sunday NFL football now kicks off at noon in Alberta instead of the familiar 11 AM, late NHL games are even later, and the Calgary Flames have a Wednesday night game scheduled for 9 PM local time. The change also means winter sunrises could be pushed as late as approximately 9:40 AM in Calgary and past 10 AM in Fort McMurray. Alberta isn't alone, with British Columbia, Manitoba and the Northwest Territories also ending their seasonal clock changes. The boys discuss how confusing the new time differences have become, why watching sports suddenly feels so strange and whether staying on permanent daylight saving time was actually a good idea. Seriously, who thought this was going to make life easier?
