Recorded in Glendale, AZ. CC [they/she] is 23 years old and has already done more identity excavation than most people do in a lifetime. Growing up in a Mormon family while being queer meant learning very early how to hide. The military became their unlikely escape route — trading one kind of structure for another, but gaining a freedom they'd never had before. They also get into what it's like to be queer in a queer family, and their experiences with older partners. Thoughtful, funny, and genuinely fascinating.
Topics: Mormon deconstruction, queer identity, military life, religious trauma, queerness and family, age gap relationships, non-binary identity, coming out.
