Sam Jalloh joins us to discuss his incredible story of how he survived a civil war in Sierra Leone, and chased his dream of becoming a professional tennis player. From defying the odds at birth, he continued to defy the odds by becoming one of Sierra Leone's tennis players. He learned how to play hand ball first, then built his own tennis racket out of whatever material he could find, played tennis without shoes, crossed multiple borders at the age of 16 while searching for better training, risked his life, and more in the pursuit of his dreams.
