Myanmar youth activist and strike leader Nan Lin confirmed to DVB that he will accept the 2026 Democracy Award from the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) on behalf of the “pro-democracy community organizers of Burma’s Spring Revolution,” set to place at George Washington’s Mount Vernon in the U.S. state of Virginia in September.
