Malaysia welcomed Myanmar regime leader Min Aung Hlaing in Kuala Lumpur on Oct. 7-8 to discuss the repatriation of 5,000 refugees – a move that has been widely criticised by the United Nations and rights groups concerned about the risks from an ongoing civil war.
