Bela Lugosi: The Monster Of Hollywood

Before Dracula became one of the most recognizable figures in horror, there was Bela Lugosi.

In this episode of Weekly Bizarre, we’re diving into the strange, fascinating, and heartbreaking story of the man behind the cape. From his rise from Hungarian stage actor to Hollywood icon, to becoming forever linked with Dracula, Lugosi’s life took some very dark turns.

Fame, addiction, typecasting, lost opportunities, and a final chapter far removed from the glory of his Dracula days—Bela Lugosi’s story is every bit as haunting as the character that made him famous.

Because sometimes the most tragic horror stories aren’t fiction..
