We sit down with Community Discharge Permit Program Specialist Rob Stoerkel to discuss Ohio 811—also known as OUPS, the “call before you dig” service that keeps homeowners, contractors, and field crews from hitting underground utility lines.

We also talk about the helpful systems that make this work, including Geographic Information System mapping, blueprint review, and coordination across multiple utilities and communities.
