WeAreVCA Ep 7: From the Margins to the Frontlines Women Shaping Climate Action in Kajiado

In this episode, we spotlight two grassroots women-led organizations in Kajiado County supported through the Voices for Just Climate Action Next Level Grant Facility. We speak with Ann Kiai of Mwanga wa Faraja CBO, whose work connects gender-based violence, harmful cultural practices, and climate action by empowering children and young girls. We are also joined by Rose Resiato from Rural Women Voices CBO, a collective of women with disabilities advancing inclusive livelihoods and climate resilience through kitchen gardening and online business training. Together, these conversations highlight why climate action must be inclusive, feminist, and rooted in lived realities.
