The Vancouver Canucks made a series of moves on the first day of free agency signaling that the rebuild is officially underway. The Canucks are bringing back Luke Schenn and they signed Paul Cotter.

But the biggest move was signing Jamie Oleksiak after trading Marcus Pettersson to the Rangers.
