In this episode, after recapping the BMW Championship and previewing the Tour Championship, the guys consider the topic of wisdom from the book of Proverbs. The command is clear: Get Wisdom! Hardly anything is more relevant, more valuable, or more beneficial to our lives.


We are continuing our study in the book of Proverbs. Proverbs was written mostly by Solomon to instruct us in right thinking that leads to right action so that we might live in right relationship with God and others in the real world.

- The woman Folly is loud, she is seductive and knows nothing (Proverbs 9:13)

- The Lord by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding he established the heavens (Proverbs 3:19)

- We want to eat what we want to eat and not gain weight. We want to scroll on our phone for hours and not feel dull. But we live in God's world and that is not the way the world works.

- Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold (Proverbs 3:13-14)

- Wisdom is better than jewels and all that you may desire cannot compare with her (Proverbs 8:11)

- Wisdom will come into your heart and understanding will guard you, delivering you from the way of evil (Proverbs 2:11-12)

- Long life is in her right hand, in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness and all her paths are peace (Proverbs 3:16-17)

- For whoever finds me finds life and obtains favor from the Lord (Proverbs 8:35)

- The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight (Proverbs 4:7)

- How to get wisdom: repent and believe the gospel, take God at His Word, ask Him for wisdom, and walk with the wise

- If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him (James 1:5)

- Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm (Proverbs 13:20)
