What comes to mind when you think of the word Gamefish? Do you imagine a big silver Tarpon? A tailing Permit? A big Brown Trout? Maybe a Golden Dorado? Or maybe a Giant Trevally? What sets these fish apart from an Alligator Gar, or a Bowfin, or a Black Drum or a Mullet? Who decides what's a trophy fish and what's a trash fish? Maybe it's time to give a little more respect to the fish that don't ever make it onto the magazine covers.
