In this episode of the Higher Cause Podcast, I’m sharing something a little more personal: my testimony of how God called me to preach.
It started at a youth conference in 2016, when God began working in my heart through the preaching of Sam Davison. From there, God continued dealing with me, but even when I sensed His call, I wrestled with it.
I had plans for my life. I worked on buses, served in nursing homes and stayed involved in church, but when God began calling me to preach, I ran from it.
Then, in 2020, God got ahold of my heart in a way I couldn’t ignore I made decisions that would completely change the direction of my life. Eventually, those decisions would lead me to attend Bible college and continue following God’s call.
This episode isn’t about what I have accomplished. It’s about what God can do with a life that is willing to surrender to Him.
