Hawaii has a lot to offer, including endemic honeycreepers! We visited the Big Island for a SCUBA and birding trip with an impending hurricane in the forecast.  Erik got to check off a bucket list item of seeing lava, we explored some native habitats, and enjoyed some amazing food.
