This episode of Sustainably LB is a solo episode. I haven’t done one of these in a while. But I believe this topic to be of utmost importance this holiday season.  To be honest, this conversation is always important, and these tips extend to all aspects of shopping, not strictly during the crazed overconsumption narrative of the holiday shopping season. But, essentially, we will be talking about consuming less, shopping local and breaking the wheel of overconsumption. And in this little chat, I will give you a bunch of tips, tricks and alternatives to do just that!

• Does the Brand Value and Pay Their Workers?
  • Have they signed the Pakistan and / or Bangladesh Accord?
• Can I Find it Locally?
• Can I Find it Pre-Loved or Through a Buy Nothing Group?
• How Long Will it Serve Me?
• What Does the End of Life for this Product Look Like?
• Do I Actually Need This?
