The $20 Burrito Problem Trump Can’t Ignore

Andrew Kolvet (spokesperson, Turning Point USA, and executive producer, “The Charlie Kirk Show”) joins Chris Cuomo for a wide-ranging debate over the future of Trump’s MAGA movement, the economy, immigration, Islam, ICE, and the rise of the DSA on the left. Kolvet explains how a college student’s complaint about a $20 burrito became a national political argument—and why he thinks Republicans risk making the same mistake as Democrats if they dismiss voters who say everyday life is still too expensive. Chris presses him on whether Donald Trump deserves the same criticism conservatives leveled at Joe Biden when voters felt the White House wasn’t acknowledging their economic reality. 

Chris and Andrew also clash over Muslim immigration and the role of Christianity in America, debate the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown and the use of force by ICE, and examine whether Democrats are moving toward their own political transformation.
