Vasiliki is an accomplished biologist with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of molecular biology, genetics and biochemistry. She is dedicated to research and development in the field of renewable biobased chemicals. She has received her P.hD from Yale University in Cell Biology. Working in various fields she has helped in many areas from advancing new technologies for the biological conversion of economical, renewable substrates to valuable, sustainable products to genetically engineering thermophilic anaerobic bacteria for the production of ethanol.
