Dejected by his parent's divorce in 2nd grade, Travis learned early on how to build that tough exterior, a defensive posture - always having to prove himself. The years of endless moves from city to city, with an alcoholic mom and womanizer of a dad, Travis leaned into the godly men that came across his path and mentored him throughout his journey. 

If you'd like a 'shot in the arm' for an exemplar of strength in the face of adversity, or resilience, or character and overcoming - you're in the right place!

Now leading an elementary school in AZ, principal Travis ensures the students and staff in his care are valued and that he speaks into them what he never received...because he's living proof that one encouraging word can change the trajectory of a life.
