We look at some comforting imaginings, such as the Egyptian Field of Reeds and the Celtic Tír na nÓg, cut right through Norse Hel and the Greek Underworld to arrive at the ICONIC self-insert fanfiction that is The Divine Comedy and specifically (as you probably know it) Dante's Inferno..
