In October 1995, an anonymous man called 999 to report a fire at a block of flats in London. He seemed to know exactly where the fire was, yet he couldn’t give the name of the road. He refused to identify himself, and once the call ended, he was never heard from again.
What initially appeared to be an emergency call about a fire would soon become part of something far more sinister.
As investigators began to piece together what had happened inside the building, CCTV footage, an unidentified man and that strange phone call would all become central to a mystery that has remained unsolved for more than 30 years.
