In this week's episode we are joined by researcher and author Dr. Terrell J.A. Winder for a powerful conversation on the intersections of identity, stigma, and self-worth among Black queer men in Los Angeles. Grounded in Terrell’s work, we explore the earliest moments many Black queer folks come to understand their bodies as “problems” and how those messages are shaped by institutions like churches, schools, healthcare systems, and everyday public life. We also talk about their new book "Shameless" and how we all can imagine new pathways toward healing and liberation.
