Another incident -- this time involving a death and dozens of injuries -- sees Machu Picchu close out a tumultuous year with it's international reputation quickly eroding as the facets of the tourist industry let greed and incompetence slowly makes Machu Picchu no longer the fabulous place to visit that it once was.
