Cancer has long been viewed through the lens of genetics, but what if one of the most widely accepted theories is missing a much bigger piece of the puzzle?
In this conversation, researcher and author David Rasnick shares why he believes chromosomal imbalance—not gene mutations—is the driving force behind cancer. We discuss the work of Theodor Boveri, why this theory has remained outside the medical mainstream, the role of spontaneous remission, fever therapy, Coley's toxins, glycolysis, and the Warburg Effect, as well as why David believes understanding how cancer develops over time is critical to finding better approaches.
David also discusses why many conventional cancer treatments appear to work initially before cancer returns, and explains his perspective on the body's natural ability to recognize and eliminate abnormal cells.
