When we revisit Harry’s first year with the information revealed later in the series, Snape’s behaviour becomes even more interesting. He didn’t just act suspiciously around Quirrell—he repeatedly obstructed Voldemort’s plans, and stood between the Dark Lord and the Philosopher’s Stone. So my question is.. Why, after witnessing all of this, did Voldemort ever decide to trust Snape again?
