The fragile peace of the Second Well Inn shatters, plunging the group into chaos. Rue is ripped from a nightmare only to discover that the waking world has become just as dangerous. With the group fractured and friends missing, the few who remain arm themselves and head into the woods to find them. A trail of blood leads to a site of worship hidden in the trees, but the path doesn't stop there. To find the others, they must leave the surface behind and finally descend into the well.
