A little unusual this time, this entire episode is in English. 1f1ec_1f1e7.png1f399.png

The guest of my 13th episode of the podcast is Karlina Caune, a top model who went straight from miltary training in the woods to the catwalks of the world. Karlina was born in Latvia in 1993, moved to NY at the age of 16 and now resides in Stockholm, Sweden with her husband and 2 children.

In her 13 years as a model, she has seen the fashion industry go from 2 collections a year to 10. Today’s fast fashion doesn't sit well with the values she has held since childhood, to take care of and cherish what we have. Out of those often forgotten values, her lifestyle brand Karlina's was born.

Hear Karlina Caune talk about the full circle of inherited clothes, magical creative moments at the epicenter of the fashion world, the unsustainable production of the fashion industry and the perfect fashion shot vs. reality. And just how glamorous is life as a model? And how do you look your best on camera?
