Mommy wine culture is a term used to describe the normalization of alcohol consumption among mothers. It's a phenomenon that has been growing in popularity over the past decade, with many mothers proudly proclaiming their love for wine on social media. The image of a stressed-out mom with a glass of wine in hand has become a common trope in popular culture, perpetuating the idea that alcohol is a necessary part of motherhood.

With Mother's Day around the corner, we are sitting down with Nicole Monaco, mother, admissions representative for Banyan Treatment Centers, and a person in long term recovery. Nicole also found herself a victim of mommy wine culture and has since overcome the unhealthy habit. Nicole is now an advocate for other mothers to do the same.
