Section 1

Revelation 12 reveals the reality of an ongoing spiritual conflict, yet it also proclaims God's absolute sovereignty over every aspect of that battle. Dr. Dave explains that although Satan led a third of the angels into rebellion, this was never an equal contest between God and the enemy. Throughout Scripture, Satan operates only within the limits God permits, demonstrating that the Lord remains supreme over all creation. Even in the midst of spiritual warfare, believers can find confidence knowing that God's authority has never been challenged or diminished.

The fall of Satan illustrates the destructive power of pride, while God's redemptive plan reveals His wisdom and ultimate victory through Jesus Christ. Drawing from Revelation, Ezekiel, 2 Peter, and Jude, Dr. Dave traces Satan's rebellion from his exalted position to his humiliation after seeking equality with God. Yet long before humanity's fall, the Father had already prepared the plan of redemption through Christ. Satan's efforts to corrupt God's creation ultimately failed because the death and resurrection of Jesus secured the decisive victory over the enemy.

No matter how chaotic the world appears, God continues to oversee every detail of history and every circumstance in the lives of His people. Dr. Dave reminds believers that persecution, hardship, and uncertainty never occur outside the Lord's knowledge or care. Just as God prepared a place of protection for the woman in Revelation, He faithfully prepares the way for His children today. Because the Lord knows the beginning from the end and lovingly holds every believer in His hands, Christians can face every trial with confidence that God is for them and will never let them go.
