What if the spiritual path you’re on is actually taking you further from God?
For a long time, I believed I was becoming more spiritually awakened.
I was exploring manifestation, energy, synchronicities, intuition, healing, and the idea that I could consciously create my reality. And at the time, I genuinely believed I was becoming more connected to something greater.
But eventually, I had to ask myself a difficult question:
Was this actually bringing me closer to God—or was I putting myself at the center?
In this deeply personal episode of the Dream Creation Podcast, I’m sharing part of my testimony and what began to change when I started questioning beliefs I had once built my identity around.
I’ll talk about:
✨ Why I thought I was becoming more spiritually awakened
✨ The questions that eventually made me stop and reconsider
✨ The difference between manifestation and biblical faith
✨ Why surrender looks so different from trying to control your reality
✨ Learning to seek God's truth instead of simply looking for confirmation
✨ The importance of discernment and testing what we're being taught
✨ What Scripture began showing me about renewing my mind
✨ And what my spiritual journey looks like now through the lens of my faith in Jesus Christ
Throughout the episode, I'll share Scripture that has become meaningful to me, including Romans 12:2, Proverbs 3:5–6, James 1:5, Hebrews 11:1, Galatians 5:22–23, and John 8:32.
If you've ever questioned your spiritual beliefs, felt confused about what to trust, or wondered whether the things you've been pursuing are actually drawing you closer to God, this conversation is for you.
This episode is a little more personal than some of my other episodes—but I believe our stories can create space for deeper conversations about truth, faith, discernment, and God.
